Texas Archive of the Moving Image and American Genre Film Archive co-present HER DOG SATAN (1991) from independent filmmaker Scott Conn. HER DOG SATAN was filmed on location at the legendary Cannibal Club, a bar that booked alternative bands. Conn had just finished his Radio-Television-Film degree at UT Austin when the idea for HER DOG SATAN took root. "The Cannibal Club was a basic post-punk, pre-grunge club on 6th Street that was a bit of an oasis for some of us who didn't have much interest in what the rest of that area had to offer," he said.

The 23-minute film features appearances by Austin-based musicians Pam Peltz (Living Pins, Toby Dammit, Minus Grace), Jeff Hoskins (Foot Patrol, Nice Strong Arm, The Flying Saucers), and Owen McMahon (Cherubs, Butthole Surfers, Joint Chiefs).

Screening alongside rare Austin punk, horror, and sci-fi shorts.  Mask of Sarnath (1981), which features a soundtrack by Throbbing Gristle, and Invasion of the Aluminum People (1980).

This screening is a partnership with American Genre Film Archive, Texas Archive of the Moving Image, We Luv Video, and Hyperreal Film Club.
